Honorary award

Israeli Diamond Bourse, October 2014: The Israel Diamond Exchange awarded Ehud Laniado with an honorary membership at a ceremony held in the boardroom of the Tel Aviv diamond bourse this October.

In the presence of the Israeli diamond industry’s leading lights, including president of the Israel Diamond Exhange, Shmuel Schnitzer and Israel Diamond Exchange director, Moti Besser, Ehud Laniado was presented with a certificate recognizing his remarkable contribution to the Israeli diamond industry through his work bringing substantial quantities of valuable rough stones to Israel each year.

During his acceptance speech, Ehud Laniado announced he has pledged a $300,000 donation towards the manufacturing centre at the Israel Diamond Exchange currently under construction.
