A rare pink diamond is one of the most concentrated forms of wealth that exists in the world. In the years ahead, precious pink diamonds are likely to become rarer and consequently even more valuable.
Mining giant Rio Tinto’s Argyle mine is famous for producing some of the most highly prized pink diamonds and auctioning them off at tender annually. But the 30 year old mine may come to the end of its life within the next decade.
