From golf clubs to tea bags and pacifiers, designers continue to find new applications for diamonds to bring an added bit of posh into the everyday experiences of their clients.

Here is the third part (read here part 1  and here is part 2) of a list showing some of the most interesting ways that designers are incorporating diamonds into their product lines, transforming ordinary objects into luxury items.

Diamond Door Knob

What better way to enter your home than by grabbing and turning the handle of your $1.2 million diamond door knob? Designer Frédéric Attar has invented this luxe creation to build a buzz in the luxury market. His door handles can be made in any color of diamonds, and have been done with yellow, black, white, and pink stones. A single handle can cost anywhere from $1,000 to $1.2 million and beyond, and comes with a certificate of authenticity.

Diamond Car Tire Rims

Car tire rims are an important addition to any car, regardless of price. However, if you really want to make a statement, Asanti's diamond-encrusted rims will certainly do the trick. For $1 million, you can have your Bentley GT outfitted with these rims – the Bentley itself comes free with the rims. If diamonds aren't your thing, they can be made with rubies or sapphires also. To protect your investment, Asanti will also provide a 24 hour security guard to protect your investment for the first year.

Mobile Phone Case

Mobile phone cases are big business. Considering that most mobile phone owners purchase a case for their precious investment, and that an estimated 19 smartphones are sold every second around the world, according to mobilestatistics.com, that is a lot of phone cases. However, the crown for the most expensive cell phone case in the world belongs to Amosu, a company that has been developing luxury phone cases for years. Their most expensive is the iPhone 6 case, valued at an unbelievable $2.7 million, and featuring 6,000 diamonds. With his or her purchase, the buyer will also receive a one year subscription to Amosu's VIP international concierge service, meant to provide access to the inaccessible, like front row tickets to the Paris fashion show and last-minute chartered yacht cruises.

Diamond Purse

Mouawad's 1001 nights diamond purse is certified by the Guinness Book of World Records as the most expensive handbag in the world. This one-of-a-kind bag is the masterwork of 10 professional artisans, who put in 8,800 hours to complete the bag. The heart-shaped purse is hammered and fashioned from 18k gold but the real highlight are the precious stones that adorn its surface – 56 pink diamonds, 105 yellow diamonds, and 4,356 colorless diamonds. Only one has been made, and in 2010 it sold for a record $3.8 million.
